The Camera Episode 1

"Uncle AJ! Uncle AJ! Who is this woman at the door? I don't like her." Andrew (Andrew Junior or AJ to close family) bent down to see what his little nephew was pointing at. He was babysitting his nephews for the day as his sister and her husband were both going to be busy with work. AJ was an amateur photographer (or so he liked to think, his friends and family didn't think that was a job). "What's that little man?" he asked Sam, the younger of his 2 nephews. "Where is Simon?" Here, readers can rightly deduce that Simon would be the older of the kids. Sam was pointing at a corner of the picture he had just developed. It was a picture of his room. He moved into his new place (room) a week ago and was still chuffed about it. His old landlord had kicked him out of his former place, telling him the room was needed for something else. Being on a shoestring budget, it took him almost a month to find alternative arrangements. He found this place just when he was about to give up and move back in with his folks. He was the black sheep of the family. His father was constantly on his back, telling him to get a 'real' job and make something of himself. AJ had studied engineering mostly to please his parents...he hated the course. The price had been much less than he anticipated and he almost snapped off the agent's hand when he was told how much he would have to pay as rent.

The camera too, was an unexpected bonus...he found it lying at the bottom of a dusty shelf in a corner of the room. Much to his surprise, it still worked, so he had amused himself by taking shots of the room, the kitchen and the bathroom. Sam's voice interrupted his reverie "I don't like this woman at the door uncle AJ, she's scary" Sam's finger was pointing at the back door of his room. The landlord had told him the door was always locked, that it was originally built as a sort of emergency exit or fire escape but the key had been missing for a few years. It was one of those old, heavy doors, built (in his reckoning) to withstand a minor earthquake. "What woman? It's just a door there lil' buddy" he said to Sam. "Come on, let's go outside and get your brother...who wants ice cream?" Simon's voice floated in through the window "me! I want ice cream!" Laughing, they all hurried to the end of his street, where an ice cream shop was nicely positioned. He didn't mind watching the kids for his sister, he was fond of both boys as they were of him...they thought the world of 'Uncle AJ' and his photographs always held a magical form of amusement for them. Of course, the regular ice cream treats weren't to be sneered at too, so it was perfect for the kids. In the evening, his sister came to pick them and after solemn handshakes, AJ promised to come and visit the next weekend.

The pictures were lying on the bed and he picked them up to arrange them in the box he usually kept his 'work' when they were developed and dried. In his hurry, he almost missed it. Hullo, what was this? The handle of the back door seemed to be bent, as if someone was trying to open it from the outside...or was closing it. It was angled and HE could see it clearly in the picture. The back of the house, where the door opened to was covered with a thick, tangled mess of weeds. He didn't think anybody would be walking through THAT, let alone trying to open a door that was always locked. He looked up, the door was still firmly shut. In the fast approaching darkness, the door seemed bigger than it actually was. He looked at the picture again and he would later on swear that he saw the handle move even more, almost angling towards opening point. AJ flung the picture away and rushed to the door. The handle was static. HE was being silly he thought. When he picked up the picture again, the handle was as it should be, in the locked position. "Well, there you go, my mind is playing crazy tricks on me." Putting the box away, he sat down to read a book before he would turn in for the night. Instant darkness enveloped his room. "PHCN" he cursed. There was a rechargeable lantern at the side of his bed and he groped for it in the dark. There! What was that sound? It sounded like metal scraping against metal...they needed oiling. It seemed to be coming from the back door. He moved towards the door and he heard the sound again. The handle was turning! "Who's there!" he shouted. The handle stopped. Silence. Then a scratching sound and a low, blood curdling moan came from behind the door. The handle was turning again, this time faster. He looked up, the door was still bolted. Good. Let the handle 'turn' all it liked. Someone was probably playing a silly trick on him. He was going to open the front door stealthily to go around and catch the prankster in the act when the scraping sound started again. THAT was not the handle turning...that was something else! He was suddenly sick. He knew what that sound was now, hadn't he heard it several times growing up? The bolts to his dad's store had rusted and made those sounds whenever they were opened. The bolts of his door WERE moving. With an urgency born of primeval fear and unspeakable fright, he groped for the rechargeable lantern in the dark. He KNEW he had to put on the light. There WAS something out there trying to get in. Instinctively, he knew if it got in, IT was going to eat him, suck out all the marrow from his bones and discard the empty husk that was once human. He HAD to find the lantern. THUD! The first bolt was open. Now the lower one started to move...

Lovely short story by Marcel. Enjoy!

Death: Our destination

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to die?

People hate to use that word or think about it when unfortunately or fortunately, it is inevitable. I do not see death as bad; just like life, I see it as one more thing we have to do to complete the ‘why we are on earth’ (now that’s gist for another day). Death like life is one of the stages unfortunately, one starts it and the other ends it (maybe cause if there is life after death, then it starts another phase).
It’s called temporary sleep meaning it is not bad at all cause sleep makes us rest, makes us forget the worries of the world and starts a ‘new beginning’ which most times is better. My only worry about death that makes it painful sometimes is when a young life is taken. It hurts me especially when I know that person did not even have a chance at happiness or goodness on earth. Why? Keeps coming up especially if he/she died a painful death; I believe so much in the teachings of the bible and at most times, I wonder if it’s an atonement of the sins of the parents.
My younger brother died a painful death, I mourned for months cause I could not comprehend why he had to die so painful. I wondered, what his mum did or what did my dad do that he had to suffer so much before his death as atonement for their sin(s). I read about a 12years old girl (long time ago) that died of cancer. It touched me deeply- WHY. Premature death is painful, painful especially when the young had so much to give, to live for and was so lively. Yet, death is inevitable and I think of my own end.
Will I have the chance to know I am dying? Will I be given the chance to love and forgive and be forgiven before I die? Death can be tricky but I want to be more tricky that it.
When an elderly person dies, I feel nothing. One, they had lived, they had enjoyed they had the chance to change, to build, to commit so now, they can GO. Death is not bad when we accept that is the reason why we live. If you enjoy life, you should enjoy death cause the two go hand in hand. Funny, they say people write about their death. I am not writing about mine. I am just saying since we all know that it is coming and we do not know when, we should learn to appreciate life and death and do what is right so that when we are gone, we know we ACHIEVED our purpose in life (story for another day).
I have wondered about life after, I do not understand why we can not figure what is on the other side. I have had dreams of death, saw my dead family/friend in dreams, talked to them but it still did not give me a glimpse of what death is about. If it is a permanent sleep, then it’s peaceful and unknowing cause most dreams, you do not know is a dream until you wake up –that means, I might never know if I am dead. Maybe this is the life after, who knows. I have always felt I lived before now. Knew what and who I was, I can feel what I did and why I am back so yes, I believe in reincarnation. You just know, I have lived before do not ask me if I am clairvoyant.
Now, appreciate death, live to die, do what is right by you and by the good of all. Let’s make our death count when we leave.

Dairy of a pained pretty woman

U think being ugly is a problem?
Then try being a pretty girl.

I remembered years back when a guy from school told me why he chose to date someone else other than me. He summed it up in this memorable statement ‘she cried for me, you can never cry for me cause you can get any guy with a snap of your finger’.
I never forgot does lines. Then, I called him low intelligent but today, as more of ‘him’ have manifested in my life in various ways, I see the pains every pretty girl goes through. They all want you, to pose with and let the world know they own you but insecurity will never let them commit to you.
One other guy told me ‘I can’t compete with all the attention you get’. That’s sad cause in my heart no one was competing with you so why the fear? Now, with all my certificates and job, they are more scared of a pretty girl with brains. Funny, I am not even where I want to be yet and they have a problem with all my achievements lol.
It’s also difficult when men ask for sex for jobs you have competence in, or in exchange for a job. We get hit on more yes but mostly by people we can’t even stand and sometimes, we are caught in a dead end. A boss who wants to lay you so bad he always gives you a query yes, I had to resign from a job cause of that. A lecturer that felt so much lust for you he did not care who was around in his class as he lectures that he took my face and kissed me in class. The rumors that go round when I am seen with any man, they just assume I have slept with them.
Had a boyfriend that till date did not believe my faithfulness and always imagined another man had slept with me and hated me for it - his obsession. Exes that refuse to go away even after they are married (like what the f**k). i call it 'sue and her men' lol.
It’s not being easy, it’s still a difficult task as I work with men in a field surrounded by majority of them. It did not help matters too that I’m busty. I won’t hear the half of it from boobilicious to the milk factory, To please let me just suck once (grrr). I have become a sex doll in the eyes of these men that all they see walking is ‘sex’. Its repulsive I must say. ‘Most desirable’: use to love that name in high school but detested it as the years passed by. Yes I loved the compliment from the ordinary man on the street or woman (u won’t believe) because another blessing (or curse you may say) was that I was blessed with lovely skin. A friend called it silky skin. Men loved to touch me. They say I am soft.
It is also painful when you loose jobs just cause you refused to sleep with one of them. A guy (married o) told me once that he made his superior not to offer me a job because he knew he had less chance if we were colleagues. I almost killed him. He still pays for that till date. I am not called(before o) she that must be obeyed for nothing – the punisher.
A big flirt, I got into trouble so many times that guys mistaken my friendliness for ‘I want to screw you-ness’. I stopped being friendly and nice (straight face). More than 3 guys told me I look so sexy and f**kable when I am angry, how I wan take vex again for public? Cause they were right, I actually look so desirable when angry. I don tire o, this looks won’t kill me before my time. Twice, I have been slapped by guy's for refusing to date them. Yep, I was one of them girls cults fought for in school. Funny, I was neither of them’s girlfriend but yeh, they had a piece of me at one time or the other (laughing my flat ass out). Yep I am flat behind but that has not stopped them so imagine if I had that plus height…I did be dead by now. So its no news that through my secondary school to university days, I had friends fighting to be with me. Point of correction, to be known as the man handling the babe but not the man I wanted in my life. I actually dated a guy who hardly talked to me but was quick to let everyone know I was his babe and flaunt. Such is life o, the date no last. Everyone wanted to be my friend; both sexes. The girls were quick to bad mouth me to the sexy guys and get into their trousers and the guys would 'chop' and come to tell me, thinking it will get me wanting them– such stupidity.
That’s another minus for girls like us. We get all the sexy ambitious men but no BFF. Cause all them girls want the sexy ambitious guys even if it means going behind our back to tell tales or truths that can maim the affair. Funny. Don’t get me wrong, there are few nice girls out there and I love them to pieces. Just girls like me attract the wrong kinda girls and guys. We always do.
So next time when you look into the mirror and hate your ‘not so fine’ looks, remember me and my problem cause you have a lot you will avoid, things that may never be a problem to you that I still struggle at 35 to run away from.

Who are you?

We breeze through life expecting something new

Our wants change whether achieved or not

Sometimes, we work hard at achieving a goal that it blinds us to the fact that we have already achieved it. Other times, we get lost in that goal not seeing the true fact that it is not for us and time to pursue another goal.

The beauty of the world is that it is a make believe shift that you can create what you want – making yourself happy or sad at any event.

The word ‘self’ has just being defined as ‘you’ but we fail to realize the impact ‘self’ has on ‘us’. When you understand your ‘self’ you tend to grow that ‘self’ and nothing limits you.

No man is an island, true, but don’t make that other wo/man be the definition of your happiness for they will also bring along sadness as wo/man knows only thyself and not the other and aims to please their ‘self’.

To believe in one's self is paramount as only you can grow your outer being from your inner being. To believe in your self is to build you mentally, shield you emotionally and exploit you physically. Do not let another's do these 3 things for you.

When you grow your mental state with happenings around you from the social, educational and religious happenings, you grow to know what you want, what you like and who you want to be. You sharpen yourself and exploit all your physical ability and know how to manage your emotions.

Life is easy when you know thy ‘self’.

Make this a point of duty to start to reflect on you, build you and EXPLOIT YOU. Only then will you start to appreciate and understand life, taking yourself to that point you want to be. Nothing is impossible, there is always a way round it.

DO NOT LIMIT YOURSELF!

On-Occupy

We were occupying for our nation
He strolling by the left and I right
Representing, doing our part
Never thinking in a year our roads shall meet
Never thinking we did be occupying ourselves
Rolling beneath the sheets
Encouraging our egos
It was a year to remember and we were
A year apart as destiny grins at us
It was all a story never unfolding
The blinds uncovered
Until Alice agreed to go down the rabbit hole
And it all changed
We were occupying for our nation
And the following year,
We were occupying our sheets
Wonder what we’d be doing same time

Next year!

Awake

The juice spurting

The feeling waking

Long lost dreams, gone

Yet a spark I feel

Deep down in the alley

The light comes on

Shinning, brighten the part

I long for a lost soul

Buried deep in the bowel of hades

Waking the dead, the titans in their folly

Nothing Greek in my gens

Yet I dream of gods and powers

Wake me up please sweet sleep

From this temporary death I sink

Wake me up sweet dreams

Let me feel thy sweetness gain

Ps: something I wrote during my 1 st week in School of Media and Communications during my MSC classes

The Binge

When adventure stops
creativity ends
the ideas run dry
and the world get stiff
in a creative world
colors rule, game schools
darkness perceives norm
and colors brightens the dark
sing on it calls
to the like minds that paint the sky
call out the name
of life that seeks bloom
don't let the sky sleep
nor let the rain fall
for then the death of creativity loom
behind the doors of achievement
build on the fun and give life
to creativity that seeks breathe

The Kill -- Vanity

I love the simple things of life. Birds tweeting, butterflies sucking beautiful flowers even the sound of crickets at night. Nature plays a strong part in our behavioural pattern. People love to be called anything good forgetting that in each one of us lie the devil and the saint. We have the will to work more with one but don’t mean the other never surface. We act in a way we love not caring at that moment what people think and after, when we are called names, we reproach them and say they know us not and hate us. Failing to see the part we play in it.

Seated at my favourite corner in my favourite coffee shop, I watch people stroll in and out. Couples loving each other and some having a fight or two; I watch friends laugh over nothing and some, talking business. My mind drifts back to a place I dread to visit (I was not always the bitch-player you know). One with so much pain and anguish: Paul and I use to be the couple; everyone thought we would tie the nut even though we were still undergraduates in the university. I felt my world complete. Then I graduated and he had a carry-over and our love was carried over by cheat. On his part that is and I could not bring myself to accept the lies, more cheats, more lies, more pain.

My heart is frozen, Sealed in a cooler filled with ice that’ll never melt. Now, instead of love, lust is my favourite partner and the game...my favourite past time. Sipped the last of my coffee and up, I go. Back in my apartment, I slip off my dress, slowly and seductively as if in a show. Even alone, I love to play. Naked, I walk in my fast seductive cat-like manner into the bathroom. Knob turns, shower flows. The coldness of the water sent a shiver down my spine. A smile grew on my face as I throw my head backwards and slowly turn it back to the front as my palms massage my body. A cold shower is God’s gift to stress, more pleasurable after a hot day than good sex. Under my duvet, still wet, I pick up my pen and start to write. I love to work but for a while now that has drained my soul hence my change of business and city to come work for Ernest; My best friend. He has been by side through it all – the pain from Paul, the crash of my Father’s empire, the death of my Father making me an orphan at my very old age of 32, my struggle to get it back on track and the success of succeeding. Now, I just want to be normal but normal never finds me. I have had my own share of breaking hearts but today, the only thing I love breaking are records. Dropped the pen on the table as I stroll completely naked to the kitchen to get a drink; a shot of Vodka, straight. Dingdong. I peeped and opened the door, walking back to my room. ‘Must you always answer the door naked?’ Ernest hissed. ‘It’s my house and I‘ll do whatever I like’. I replied. ‘Straight or on the rocks, serve yourself’. ‘you’re lucky you just like a guy to me if not maybe, just maybe’. I laughed as I went under the covers again. We talked about my business and how it’s doing in the market. We concluded that its best we sell now. Business over. ‘Why are you smiling to your Iphone, another babe?’ he laughed out loud. ‘I’m not you Gwen, It’s my wife and she just told me she made me my favourite meal’. ‘Oh...’ I responded ‘... her naked on the dinner table. I remember. Say hi to her when you get home.’ ‘I will. See you in the office tomorrow’. He placed a kiss on my forehead as usual and the loneliness crept in again as the door closes behind him.

Back in the comfort of my space, I reach out for the remote and tuned to my favourite cartoon channel. My blackberry vibrates from underneath my pillow. Him again, jeez, when will these men get it, Sex is no big deal anymore. I need something more...something stable and fun...sharing - like what Ernest has with his wife. I had played with this one’s heart. Made him feel I was in love just because I heard he was the biggest player in town; using and abusing girls and their hearts. He needed to be taught a lesson and that I dealt with, in my smooth killer fashion. Playing hard to get isn’t in vogue anymore. I met him at His favourite bar. I walked up to him oozing of my favourite womanity perfume. No man can resist the smell. ‘Nice perfume’ he called. ‘Buy me a drink’ I responded in my husky low tune looking straight, deep into his eyes, daring him. He smiled and gave the bar man the order as I called out for straight vodka, avoiding looking his way again. He knew the game well so, he wasn’t looking my way either. I took my drink and walked away to a lonely seat. I know he smiled at that instance, sensing the game. After a few minutes, he finished his drink and walked away. I also know, that he stood outside for a while, hoping I’ll follow him out, and share a kiss and then a bed but I sat stiff in my seat, sipping away and watching the match. He came back in, straight to the bar, got himself two glasses and came straight to my table. I smiled. Took my glass from him and starred back at the TV set. He sat quietly by my side. Confused on what to do I presume, trying to figure me out. ‘You new in town’ he said and I responded looking straight into his eyes ‘You can’t f**k me’ he smiled ‘Strong word’s for a lady and I had no such intention’. I laughed and looked at him, this time mild. ‘You know you want to. You are wondering to yourself who am I, how I’ll be in bed and if I’ll satisfy the desires you have always wanted from a wild girl’ he smiled back now laughing ‘You are trying to f**k with my mind, trying to put thoughts in them’ he laughed again. ‘Good night miss?’ he offered me his hand. I shook it ‘goodnight’ without offering my name. He laughed again, stood up and left.

2 days later, he was at my door step: My office of course. He offered to take me out for a drink and I obliged. We sat, chatted and had dinner after wards. He dropped me off at home and went his way without offering to come in. I didn’t offer either; we both knew the game and we playing it. We became drinking buddies after a while of waiting for who’ll fall. We met at the bar; 6:30pm every evening even on Sunday’s and had a drink or two. Sometimes, we went to watch a movie. All this, while I was scheming, playing the ‘I think I like you’ game. Modest and sweet: I grew on him without him knowing, letting go of all defence. We talked about everything from lovers to books, business to trips abroad. We were CLOSE. After 3months, I knew the time had come (yes, I can wait a year to make my kill). This faithful evening, I offered him dinner at my apartment. During dinner I wasn’t so chatty. Hardly looking into his eyes and pretending to jump anytime he comes close to me. He was genuinely confused this time but didn’t ask me any questions. As he took his leave, slowly walking towards the door, I backed him up against the wall and planted a hungry kiss on his lips. I pulled away slowly as I saw the shock on his face ‘sh*t’ was the only word he could mumble, looking deep into my eyes. I looked back, in a sober yet seductive way. This time, he grabbed me. Kissing hungrily as we moved - scattering the table, falling furniture’s and then I pushed him away and said ‘I can’t do this, I am sorry’. ‘WHAT!’ was his slow harsh response. ‘I don’t get, you kissed me’ ‘and I am sorry. Can you please leave now?’ I purred like a confused kitten. He left without a fuss. I smiled as I crawled naked into my bed, imagining what could have been, would have been. As I expected, his call came in. For a while he said nothing just breathing into the hand piece. The player on his side returned. ‘Come to my apartment now. Wear nothing under just a dress’. I smiled, got up and obeyed.

And that was his only night. Now, he calls, pings, send flowers, chocolates, vodka bottles and all. He’s sprung and I... the game killer (smiles). I have had my feel, I had planted the want in his head, dragged it out to his nerves and made sure his want is not satisfied and the mystery, not solved hence the continual want that he now believe, is love. Men never like to be played. They love to win always. She should be the one wanting me. She should be the one calling. Why is she forming she doesn’t want me? Why is she playing hard to get? She must fall? And so, the want is dragged on and on till finally, he gives up. Most often than not, they become softer and feel karma just played a fast one on them but Nitemi was not like them. He was a man that gets what he wants and now, what he wants, his 'Gwenivere' and that hunger is my VICTORY.

The Kill

I always aim for the kill. My tactic is never noticeable; it’s slow, calculated but very active. Never let them know what runs through your mind or see you coming. People love to solve mysteries, be mystical in nature – The Enigma...my personality. When your mystery is solved, you become... uninteresting - Always give them something to look out for. Keep them guessing. You think you know me? Now decipher this. BAM! I hit you with another me from another angle. I don’t even know myself that’s why I love me - Mystery...suspense...attracts, holds the attraction.
Swinging by, I noticed him within the seconds my eyes turned towards the door as the security ushers him in. He was tall, great body (my fetish) and a very nice smile - 6ft 5 I presume. I smiled in my mind’s eye. The flirt in me woke up, ready for the kill. I sat behind my desk and pretended not to notice the presence before me. ‘Hi beautiful, I believe you are Mr Ernest’s personal assistant?’ without looking up, flipping through the files on my table that I had read 20times before and noticed nothing, I relied ‘Yes and who are you please’. He offered his hands ‘I am Mr Red, operations manager, Kay and Kay Company; He is expecting me I believe’. Raising my head slowly, with my killer smile and taking his hand I responded ‘Welcome Mr Red, we have been expecting you’ slowly I stood up and pointed towards a seat. ‘Do sit down please; Mr Ernest will be with you soon’. Yes, the intercom works. Yes, I could have called but that will stop the quest at a very mundane halt! I got up, straightened my skirt, heads up, and walked towards my boss’s office. ‘Ernest, Mr Red here to see you’ I called from the slightly opened door. He mumbled some words and I walked back, head up high. Standing in front of Mr Red I said ‘Mr Red, Mr Ernest will be attending to you in few’ with my quick killer smile, I offered him one after the sentence and straight face back again this time, I walked with a fast pace o my seat.
If he is aware of the game, he won’t fall but I never made the same move so they never get me. If he doesn’t know the game well, he would fall. Behind my seat I waited patiently for the signal. Beep. My intercom ‘Mr Red, you can go in now’. He walked straight into Ernest office without looking my way. Now that’s not good I thought to myself, head still focused on a blank paper in front of me. Yep, part of the game is to be able to see things even when you not looking their way. Anyway, plan B is on set, waiting. After an hour or so, He stepped out, shook hands with Ernest at the door and continued out to the security. My head still bent, waiting patiently. At the door, while shaking thanks to the security, he briefly looked my way as he tried to close the door. A smile grew on my face. Toug cookie but... GAME SET.

His Touch

He had a way with words

They touched where it matters most

I saw my life flash before my eyes

I knew the pain before the words where spoken

They drew lines round the wrinkles on my face

Dribbling my heart in a pool of blood

With 26letters, he tore me

5 just 5 vowels of pain

Consonants resonate my mood

Scattered, unpronounciable, shattered!

Yes, I called for it

I took pen and put it to paper

But I never expected him to respond

I wrote without knowing what

He responded straight from my heart

The words slapped me on my face

Like if I didn't write the words

Like if I didn't breathe life into him

His word shapern my very being

Next time, hands, do write what will make me smile!

Life's Riches

Friends, families and enemies…
In life they all count to build you. You have to prove your worth with all of them. The zeal to succeed starts with a push from an enemy, the zeal to remain from a family. The joy to continue from a friend and the pieces adds up to form your life.

I have searched far and wide, deep within me to find answers to questions bothering on deceit and lies. Cheats and killers and yet, no answer; In happiness and joy, riches and fun, an answer is gotten for every action pulled so.
It’s sad to know that no matter your deeds, a negative will creep and make you regret your need. A lone ranger we seem, our hearts longing too deep. Singing songs of longing, dancing to a tune unheard of, Pain shattering the love, anguish accomplishing the lust; still no answers
Life is full of all we want, of all we can make it seem like; don’t let another take that from you. Grab the best always out of life and be happy.

Experienced Creativity? Bullshit

We learn every day. The day we seize to learn we are of no use to anyone. Creativity they say like talent is in born, though some people acquire it on their path in life; experience help only to sharpen it but everyday our ability to reason like a child in side, in his curiosity and zeal to understand the beauties of the world makes us build on our creativity for u CAN NEVER know it all, its ever changing and mystical in its ways. That’s why a 7years old boy can create a beautiful piece and an old man will only try to make u see the beauty in his own piece. Learn, never stop yourself from learning, its a beautiful thing to be ever curious and ever wanting to learn.

The creative industry especially the advertising agency in Nigeria is dying cause some of us feel we know it all just because of the years or position we hold. Partiality and sentiments in the name of politics kill the creativity and drives out the people with a passion to rebuild this industry. I know these words will fall on many deaf ears but for the few that can make this change; stop applauding failures just cause he/she is your boss, colleague, friend, brother, sister or even spouse.

If they do trash, give them the dustbin – that was how I was trained, that was how I got better, that was how I grew and am continuing the growth to be good at my best, and better than it, till I best it again and continue the circle. Call me sarcastic, not everyone should smile at u. Not everyone should be nice. Lets’ take Naija's creative guru's to the next level!

Let’s make this WORK!

Inside Out

It takes one to know one they say
but it's not everytime someone u think u know come up with ideas u believe they are not capable of. The funny thing is we limit ourselves to what we believe is humanly possible and not what isn't. Most times, the disruption needed for a new innovation lies within our thoughts but we kill it with our lack of trust for our abilities.

Inside us lies a gaint fighting to be exposed.
but this gaint needs us to 1st believe its got strength and wings to fly with a blood that pumps faith and trust. The Entrepreneur

It’s difficult to set out on your own as an entrepreneur especially when cash flow is poor and not forth coming
Persistent is what get’s you through and as an idea’s man, you think up ways to get what you what with little or no cash. Then the next problem arise – human resources – connections
This is as bad as finances itself for money pushes, connections connects the dots. Now you got a fantastic idea, no money, no connections, so what next?
Prayers I believe you’ll say – good but even the bible said you have to knock for the door to be opened. What exactly can a young entrepreneur with no money and no connection do in Nigeria to make it?
Research is the word, a strong drive to succeed and a push in the right direction. Visit places, talk to people – any one, be alert, read the papers, attend workshops and seminars (a lot come free) and network.
I was trended the part of an entrepreneur; I had the drive, the will and the idea even the finances though little and few connections but I did it all the wrong way, I trusted people instead of my gut feelings, I bargained and picked friendship other than discipline and it all ended in a failed business.
Now, am at it again. This time smarter, wiser and more prepared with a niche idea that’ll get me places, make me a celebrity and RICH. I’m trending softly cause I don’t want to make the mistake again. No friends this time that are looking for my loyalty that the truth.
To work with me now is to be disciplined as well as to ne alert. My friend’s say am rude but no am just strict. I am not going to lose money over childishness, this is the new age, grow up and be ready to lose friends to make it cause a lot of them don’t really care if you do.
Being an entrepreneur is fun, you are your own boss so the determination and smart work you put gets you far, hard work pays sometimes but its faster to be smart. You’ll lose a lot, maybe you love life too but with time, everything will come to place. And you’ll be the best for it.
Join me on this road to the DreamZone; it’s going to be a fun, tough and fulfilling ride. Luv ya!

Escapist

The screams are loud, can hear them in my mind can see them shouting through the veil, wake up it says. I can’t seem to shake them off. Wake up it yells; no it’s my fault. I gave them the voice, now they scream as loud as a cymbal banging its way through my brain. My mind’s eye search for a part, an escape route yet finds none. ‘No am not a chicken’ I stay put in the silence of the lamb yet the voices destroys, kills my very being like wolves in a pack, devouring their victim. This is you, this is who you are, you can’t be someone else, and you can’t even fake it. ‘I know’ I scream to no one in particular with a voice only my insides can hear. ‘It’s just that how can people see me in different lights?’ was he right when he said I had multiple personality syndrome? I know I’m a different babe to different people. I know I can be sweet and I can be wicked and no one person sees these two sides at the same time (ok just deception). Was he right when he said I’m trapped by the game, I live for the game and now the game has become a part of me and I can’t decipher it from reality. Yes! I’m the master of the game: I rule the game the game don’t rule me. Yes! He is wrong, I play always to win cause am a winner and you, the sore loser.

Orchestrated attempts to make me sober aint going to work either, shutting the voices with vodka, I slip into oblivion enjoying the peace of silence and serenity. It’s not a lonely life I live, it’s a ME life. If my attitude annoys you, you have the WILL to defriend me as it seems. These voices will not choke me; they only make me strong, keeping my emotions in check. The trip was an eye opener, I sensed the betrayal yet I allowed it happen – all part of the game. If I play smooth its cause I don’t let the unwanted get to me. If it hurt u, its cause u claimed to understand the game when u DIDN’T. I’m not a whore so why will u think I play to lose? Mastery of the game takes a lot of efforts, disappointments and emotional instability; Lovers and friends – the ability to keep them after a bang, loyal and faithful is what makes you the MASTER.

Life is a game, the secrets of attraction teaches you how to make it wind to your tune. If am ambitious its cause I was born a WINNER, if am a go-getter it’s because I woke up to reality. I KNOW the LEDGE for KNOWLEDGE is the key to wisdom; WISDOM needed to gain the worlds riches. I boast of a world where I am the gift, the gift of friendship, laughter and most especially freedom. Be not as it may, those who don’t understand hate and what they hate, they fear. I am just the SIMPLE girl next door and when you knock, I shall open and serve you tea laced with vodka. Lol

Hush!

I lie naked on my bed my left arm caressing my nipple as my right hand-jst a finger play round my lips, playfully drag d hairs round them
Taking it up, I wet it wit my tongue n slide bak this time, touching my clits gently
Then I pinch hard as a scream escapes my lips, my left arm squeezes hand on ma tits and slowly reaches out for pinky I put pinky in mouth imagining him throbbing in my throat
Another scream as my finger slowly goes in, my waist jecks upward Slowly, I glide pinky down, thru my cleavage, pass my navel n gently rub it against my clits
Holding pinky with both hands now I push him hard inside me, my waist slightly off d bed with my head slanted backwards, I mourn in pleasure
I push pink hard inside me, taking him whole, screaming in pain yet the pleasure engulfs my very being
Out a little and in wit a quick push quickly my arm finds my tits n squeezes hard on them
I roll over, lying on my tummy but hips raised, throbbing fast, biting hard on my pillow,in quick succession, squeezing my nipples n twisting
I can feel my brain swell in pleasure as I quickly turn round again on my back
I scream lik a lady possessed, twisting waist in a rhythm, anticlockwise as I throbb harder
I feel d rush, I feel d pleasure, I  him urging me to cum, screwing me lik if to release d demon dt has jst possessed my body, I scream out, calling his name, longing 4him as I cum in multiples

wine n spirit

Cocktails have always been one of my delite. As an adventurous lady, I have always found fun in playing with food, drinks and games lol. Even with romance, experiment was in. tonight, I watched cocktails being mixed and enjoyed the different taste of pleasure. It wasn’t much to ask but it was a delight to behold and a lustful pleasure t my taste.
The organisers of the Nigerian wine and spirit festival takes this classes seriously and not as a means of lustfull pleasure like I did. People actually pay to understand the beauty of mixing. Mixing the alcoholic pleasures that graces not only my taste buds but my senses.
Now would take this course? Just maybe. Would I trail this path? Most definitely. As a lover of pleasure, the cocktail classes is not just a learning place but a fun and pleasurable avenue to bond with friends and my environs.
Don’t miss out on the 2011 edition of the Nigerian wine and spirit festival course if you do… you miss everything.

The Kiss

It all started with a kiss
The promise to lock
The passion it ignites
Like a dream,
Steps were taking unknowingly
Like a mirage,
Love then dug sparingly
Eyes met with a passion untold
Smiles glared with a story sold
When it locked,
Passion unleashed
Moves so smooth
Excitement entangled
The night bloomed
All in the story of a kiss
Yes she said, and yes she did
Behind the wheels it started
All it took was just 1 kiss

And history as made!

Nigeria - bedrock of creativity!

The creative mind is God’s gift to humans.
We are creative in so many ways that we know but do not exploit to the fullest. We are limite by our thoughts, observations and fears. We feel we not good enough, our friends don’t belive in us and our family finds us worthless.
Fear of our environ too play a huge part. Foreign things are the best, blacks can’t do shit, an illiterate can’t express creativity, Funds also play a major part and we encourage it to dissuade us.
Nigerians are blessed with so many opportunities; we are gifted in creativity. We miss -use our gifts and ignore our opportunities. Miss using our resources and taking for granted our opportunities. We are deep thinkers- understanding ways to get around things but FEAR is our biggest issue, self worth we lack.
The Igbo’s are blessed with craftsmanship. Give them any designer bag or shoe and they’ll replicate it to the minute detail. Yes, the product don’t last but think about it, if the government put in funds to help them, won’t they make a better product that will last?
Our film industry got good stories but the plots kill the movies why? No fund. If the governments invest in the industry and our producers take time out to shun out good plots and details, we would be top notch not only in films generated but also in creative work.
Our people are blessed with the voice. With or without education, our songs have gained top recognition. Yes, some of our artist can’t speak to save their lives and I’m not referring to 2face but they can sing to revive the dead. They need to be encouraged.
Check out our lands, have you ever tried planting something at your backyard? Watch it grow with or without your tender care that’s how productive our lands are. Yet we don’t exploit our agricultural sector. Imagine the catfish we breed, the chickens, turkey; still we import and hardly export and make things not just difficult but expensive for our country men/women.
Read far and near, we have Nigerians doing things we can’t imagine and there are a lot of us out there. If we don’t start appreciating what we do and build on our gifts, we’ll NEVER get this country to the peak we need it to get to.
Let’s invest in our God given gifts, let’s help our country grow stronger and believe in our work. The American bags do get old and bad someday don’t they? Yet they believe that their products are the best. Let’s believe in ours too.

Talent 'n' U

It’s something to say you are creative and another to actually be creative.

Talent plays a major role in making you the best at what you do. That’s why it’s always safe to build on your God given talent and not run towards another man’s talent all in the name of trying to make it big. You might succeed at it but you’ll never excel cause in truth, you don’t love what you do.
Searching within to find your inner potential is necessary to find the true YOU! When you dig deep and find out what it is you are made to do and you seek knowledge on this part, it makes you a better person. Even in time of problems, you’ll weather it for you love to do what you do. You’ll give not just your best but your all without knowing it, without forcing it and without being made to do it.
Life will be much easier, happier and friendly when you are in the environment you love. Talent is what makes you who you are, it’s the gift from God. The answer to all your worries; It’s no wonder why some excel at what they do in so little time while others take years and never make it!

Don’t be deceived, money sure comes easy when you know you doing the right thing the right way; the way you were MADE to do it, that which you were BORN to do!

Its easy trust me. So go out there and DO what you were made to DO!

I'm sprung!

It hits me in the face like a thousand bricks
Lust creeping in, bitch slapping my guts
Fingers dig deep, gushing blood
All up in my face was the truth and I threw my head to the side
Is it all a mirage?
The voices laugh at my very being
Clapping cymbals that hurts the soul
Cutting deep in revenge
The distance once a blessing now a curse
I saw the writings but I refused to read the words
Please stop, I plead to it
My heart bleeds in places I felt where long dead
Please stop, I cry out
To a voice I believe can hear the words n stop the hurt
Focus a precious stone I now dig for
Why was I so stupid to believe?
With feelings I could not phantom
Waking up to a truth I thought was long gone
Walk with me pain, for I am doomed
Stroll along lonely abandonment
Wise men once thought me wise
Foolishness now my middle name
My heart knew yet my ears behold the voices
Please let it all be but a dream
Shakespeare would have slapped me too
I’m so stupid I cant even beginning to understand
I’m supposed to be the dreamer
How did I become the character?
How could I have believed the voices?
What did I do wrong!

Awaken - Suicide bombers!

Funny, I seem to like the disaster of yesterday; it shows we are gradually getting there.
1st suicide bombing in Nigeria-waoh! We go wake-up now, our politician’s go start to fear, them go know say we don arrive!
As bad as it seems, this will make Nigerians see the possibilities inherent in us. The strength and the will we feel died ages back. The silence we kept for so long is now VOICING OUT. We can change our country for the better. We can actually do things like the western countries. We have the power to do so much more and WE SHOULD.
We’ll see now the police force will change; they will be well trained, well paid and well equipped and so ready to combat future disasters like yesterday. The military also will wake up, politics’ will be tighter, and crimes will lessen.
Welcome Nigeria, to the new age of reality!

Double personality (The re-birth)

Sitting up in bed, I turn around to see him sleeping deep. I hope the valium will work its magic till I return. Kick off my portofuss, I tiptoe to the kiddies room. Charles was a very good reflection of me but his second- Chelsea looks so much like her dad and I pray with all my heart she’ll take to his character.
Wigs in place and glasses on, I stroll round to my hideout- claimed studio. Behind a big canvass, I push my Kawasaki ninja out all the way to the 3rd street and then mount it. All of a sudden I heard that voice again ‘welcome horny, we’ve been expecting you’. I rode off into the cold pleasures of the night.
My 3rd victim was pretty drunk. She fell on me like if I’m her protector, licking her face, tasting the sweet sweat as my face suddenly realized he has been watching. Flirtatiously I call him with my eyes. He responds with a lick of his lower lips. I laugh out loud in the rowdy club filled with sweet lustful sin. Next he was by my side, licking my neck as I smooch on her already swollen lips, his hands on my hard nipples, squeezing hard.
‘My place or yours?’ he whispered and I laughed; ‘do you have a car?’ he nodded hurriedly and led the way. I pulled on her, laughing all the way to the door as I grab the body guard and smooch him ‘thank you’ as I always do. The cold breeze hits my face as from nowhere, I hear him say ‘mummy please don’t!’ the shock left my face as another breeze hits it and at that second I knew my mistake had been the twins. No it couldn’t be; they always put a smile on my face, a different one from what I’m having as he rams my behind. A different one as I chew her under. I scream in terror-‘it’s not fair, why can’t I have the best of both worlds, why is heaven and hell such enemies?’
I feel her fingers tear deep on my bare back as she releases all the highness on my face in pleasure, he turns me round and sticks his stink into my mouth and I mount my lips on her breathe, her cold tongue worked magic as I expected. I swallow my taste, enjoying every horror from his erect ego. Their faces appear again, this time as babies, as they take their first step with his voice saying- ‘they’ll be as sweet as their mum, so pure, so gentle’. I scream out in pain-filled-fear. ‘What have I done to myself? Who is this nightmare that appears in the day and is called pure and gentle? She can’t be me, I’m the hedonist, the servant to painful pleasures; the lover of lustful, demented sex how can I be pure and gentle’?
He screams out as he cums in my mouth, the cold salty cream hits a cord as I cum in utmost pleasure. Why can’t ‘he’ be this adventurous? Why should love be so cagey? Why is marriage only sweet to the lips and not like the craziness of a single bed? I hear her mourn from underneath my wet swollen lips; Reality hits as I hurriedly clean and dress up.
‘Hey, can I get your number…What should I do with her?’ where the words that glide by as I rode off like the beast that has taken over my being. Bike hidden, cloths off, I look at my naked body as I feel my nipples harden from the night’s pleasure. Suddenly, I notice my fingers, I lick the circle on the 4th as a tear drop down, ‘I can’t be a mum, I can’t be a wife, it’s all a trap, a dream’ more tears as I take the wig off my head and flush it down the toilet. Raising head back to the mirror, I wipe the tears and again, I see the circle on the 4th finger as I hear that voice again ‘Mum, is that you?’  I shake it off my head as I open the mirror closet and take out my rings behind the valium. I smile at sight and close mirror as I hear the voice again ‘Mum?’ this time the fright in the voice made me turn round.
It all came down on me like lighting- the fear, the shame, the pain and the FREEDOM. How long has she been standing there and how much did she see? I see tears run down her face as she let out a big SCREAM saying ‘it has always been you hasn’t it, you lied to me mum, how could you’?

My childhood flashed before me at that second as the feel of déjà vu creped on me like a demon devouring my soul!

Enigma emerges!

Life is as easy as we make it
Sometimes cos we not an island, people make us feel ‘incapable’ but if we believe and push harder, we make it through.

Enigma has taken so long to cut the clutter and here she is, about to storm earth with the force like no other.

About to birth dreams that young talents feel they can never live. she like a mother, is going to nuture their dreams. Like a sister, she is going to encourage their dreams and like a brother, she is going to ride along with them to achieve their dreams.

Like the father, she’ll make sure they are heard, noticed and appreciated.

So much to say but so few words to describe it

Welcome my precious, I know your birth will be the best birthday gift ever!

Birthday Blues!

Adding another year soon to my cap!

Looking back at the path I took, I feel no regret, no remorse or pain. I love my son, he is everything to me. He is smart, intelligent and unavoidably handsome. Funny, I still don’t look like a mum lol.

In all these years, I have learnt to love, to forgive, to laugh and to enjoy all the gifts life gives. I have learnt to appreciate everyone, to understand their short comings and learn to see beyond the surface. In this knowledge, I have grown old and wise but funny; my face grows younger by each passing day and my skin glow from pride.

I abuse my drink (laughing hysterically at the thought that I got sexyberry drunk with my bad habit n lost her-sexyberry is my white bold2), I abuse my sleep(still love to dance the night out every weekend and even week days) so I wonder how I still help to keep my skin soft and glowing and my face so young.

But I can tell you this for free, my care free nature and peace with the world is what gets me going, happiness gives good and everlasting health…believe it. Positive thinking gets you places as well as a healthy mind.

To all the friends who have made my years, family who stand continuously by me and enemies who fight me to give me strength, tanks for am going to enjoy all of u in my life again and again and again till my good Lord calls me.

To the men who have made me laugh, cry, smile and DANCE; I appreciate all of u and wish u all happiness and love. To the man who’ll finally have me for better or worse, I know you’ll be the happiest man on earth.

But for now, ama enjoy life to the fullest as always because as my name implies…I LOVE MY WORLD (AKPOMEJEVWE).

The big bite- marriage is all about true LOVE!

What’s love got to do with getting married?
The forbidden fruit a blessing in marriage?

I remember when I was 15 and some and I fell in-love with my baby’s dada; point of correction, I thought I was in-love but I was really obsessed cause  one time we quarreled, I drank 5tabs of valium 5 or 10(cant remember) to kill myself. Thank God I just slept off for about 25hours on and off and didn’t pass a way cause that’s the most stupid thing ever to do for a guy. Then I grew-up, went to the university and fell in-love for real with my dazzling prince charming, the guy I call “deception”. It was a beautiful 4years relationship cause no matter the hurt, the joy is all I remember.
Why this story; it baffles me when people claim they love their spouse yet, even after the vow, they still cheat on them. If you are really in-love, will another appeal to you? When I was with the guy I love(d) no other man appealed to me. Yes, as a natural flirt, I did flirt with other guys but none’s kiss pleased me like his, none’s touch appeased my soul it was just what the books say it was, what the songs sang about what the fairytales made me dream about; it was PERFECT. (I want to feel that again)
So it really baffles me the way men cheat and now, the women are in on the game. The cheating spree. Before they call marriage a trap, now it’s the bedrock of freedom to have any woman you want without her trying to hook you. It’s now the game you can play and enjoy playing other games and the only thing I can think caused all these, is that they were NEVER IN-LOVE.
I remember days with my dad, the affection he showed me wasn’t the same he showed my mum, yes I know he was fond of my mum but what really made me want to be in-love was my mum and step dad. They were always holding hands, kissing, dancing together and doing all the things that was done in the movies. Yes I felt the love. I felt the love when my mum wakes up 5am in the morning to make sure she had breakfast with him before he left for work. I felt the love when my mum takes out time to learn a new English or French meal to entice him at the dining table during the weekends (yes, I’m among the few who ate on a dining table maybe because both dad’s had a foreign background). I felt the love when on good Fridays' we were woken up and told to go into the garden to find the Easter eggs(my mum and step dad spend the night painting them then early mornings hiding them). When we went to the beach and when my mum found her artistic side learning her husband’s love for oil paint. Now, that I want to feel in my home and it has nothing to do with him being German.
Most of our ladies marry because they feel they are the age to and so accept any proposal made to them without even knowing the man, his loves, his wants and his dreams. Some marry cause he is rich while others because he is the only one that has proposed and their clock is ticking. Some men marry because they feel she is the one that has taken my shit, the one that has accepted who I am, the only one that agreed to date me when I didn’t have anything or the one my parents like. Forgetting marriage is more than just their happiness they have to consider the kids that’ll come in for they only can see through the relationship at home. They know when there is no love and it affects them emotionally, subconsciously, they grow to also find it hard to show love or feel it. Making the world full of people who seek happiness in SEX and wonder why after so many lovers they still can’t be HAPPY.
Love is a beautiful thing, once you experience it you’ll always want to experience it cause one minute of love cover years of none. When I see my ex, I remember most of the good times and never remember the bad until him or someone reminds me of a bad.
I really urge all my friends especially to marry for LOVE. In this changing world, that’ll be the only thing that’ll hold us together, build beautiful homes free from cheats and birth lovely kids that feel love which helps them grow into happy people, making fantastic choices that’ll shape them and the world in general.

Think deep within you if you’re married and ask yourself, “do you really love your spouse” and not just the mouth tingy cause if you do, no one will ever come close and you definitely WON’T CHEAT!

Confession of the shrewd!

Sometimes I laugh at the thought of people’s idea about me
It makes me wonder, do these people think I came to earth for them?
I live to breathe to enjoy the pleasures of the world.
I seek the unknown that births ideas of riches
I know the ledge and use the knowledge to get where I need to go
A blessing giving at birth and used judiciously to please
I’m hated and loved at the same time by many
Because am different and that’s my motto
“I was born to stand out not fit in”
I’m a one man army driven by passion, executing passion
The creative world my bedrock to explore its sexual pleasures
Dance my cloud 9 and writing the arousal
I’m gifted with beauty and garnished with brains
Not my fault these blessings are immerse within me
But they also bear the negative for fear men have for a lady like me
They love to taste, keep around but fear to be in the life
Don’t fear the feelings cause I was born to be loved and hated at the same time
It gets me going, gets you committed to keep me growing
For you know my strength and my weakness at the same time
Yet you fear cause am unpredictable to a fault
But it’s not your fault, I also know not what am capable of doing till I get into the spot
I love me, the mystery surrounding me
And I bask in that mystery and use what some call a weakness as MY STRENGHT!
I AM AN ENIGMA
Know that and you’ll understand why you shouldn’t bother trying hard to understand my ways
I AM THE ENIGMA
Know that and you’ll appreciate my ways without pensive thoughts
I emit knowledge that you need to gain your worth.
Live, learn and LOVE.

Am bored shitlist!

Why is it that sometimes you feel like your world should just end. That u’ve seen it all, heard it all and done it all. U get bored of everything and can’t find solace in anything?
I'm at that point in my life again and it hurts. Hurts cos am barely in my 30’s and if I feel this way what will happen when am in my 40’s? or 50’s I dare say 60’s? How can life be so boring all of a sudden? How could I have achieved so much, done so much and loved so much in such a short while? Yes the only thing I think about right now is money and more money but for what? For those things that's still the same just different settings? It’s such a façade this world we live in.
Sometimes I feel maybe cos I have no MAN to share it with; don’t get me wrong, I've got lots of them in my life so am not lonely. I got the old ones refusing to go, past ones trying to make a comeback and new ones struggling to be the numero uno. But am looking for more, not good sex, not deep kisses but a soulmate. Someone that can make me laugh at everything and anything so they’ve also grown boring- for now. I try to be a lady and keep up but now I don’t think I can keep up the pretence any longer AM BORED.
I love my job cos i'm doing something I like- “writing” but it also has gotten boring. I write not the way I want, not mysterious or creative but to sell and make people understand, now what’s the creative ingenuity in that? Pls writing for people can be predictable yeh sometimes you get the aha! But yeh still predictable and don’t have that sweet funny feeling u get deep down in ur tummy when u write a real creative piece that will confuse, ignite and shake someone. With hidden meanings and soul searching facts. I LOVE TO WRITE but AM BORED WITH COPYWRITING.
I got friends that just crack me up every now and then. Though they consist of mostly men but they do- do me right lol. My lady friends are drags, always wanting something from me. From me hooking them with my great male friends to finding a man to take us out. Or they want a hide out, or just hear me tell them about my version of what life is to be. Yes, there are some that gets me laughing but then again, it’s the same ‘ol same ‘ol so AM BORED.
Now I think, is life just these things I have experienced? Is the church the answer? I’ve never being a fan or a religious fanatic so how can I find solace in the church? Its so damn BORING. I’ll be pretending to be something am not so am comfortable being the girl that is truthful to her God and loves Him with all her heart trying daily to please him just don’t send me to the church by force; AM BORED.

When am bored, I get to do things I shouldn’t. my other me step out for that moment of bliss and gets crazy. She aint nice, she don’t care and she is very EVIL. Yes, everyones' got a bit of evil in them but I got things in me with equal amount of power-no wonder my friends say I got multiple personality. The difference between mine and the foreigners is that I know after that my other me did what she did and though I get sober, I NEVER REGRET. So please find away and get me out of this dilemma.
AM BORED!

A consonant made the difference!

Monday morning -May 2, 2011 marks a new dawn of happiness for those who lost their loved one in the Sept 11th mayhem that unleashed in the USA; When the twin tower, the glory of America, housing the world trade center crumbled to dust via a well thought out plan by a special terrorist group (the al-Qaeda),   headed by Osama, killed thousands of people in New York. 10years now and the victory is heard on the streets as the reign of the 1st black president brought the death of the terrorist known as Osama.

Just a consonant difference in both names, such huge power, what a celebration; President Obama sure is the change America has been waiting for. We believe now that the war against terrorism might have ended but the big question is- is America not basking in too much power hence now turning itself without consciously doing it, into a terrorist State?
Question for another era for now…

Big-ups Obama as you nailed Osama.

It's her day! Genevieve Nnaji

I must give it to her, being a single mum myself; she has come along way from grass to grace and she carries her self well with no scandal and lots of panache.

I really don't send nollywood but some of our actress made nollywood proud through the ages.

Big-up to you genevieve, many more great years to come.

XOXO

lost my sense of humor

I let my hair down so a lot of dirt passes through even as I try to be understanding, it’s taken for granted. Imagine been hassled for N1,500 when the hassle is owing the hassled N10,000? This country really needs a hero with an iron hand.
Every day I ask the Lord to give me the strength to continue in my good deeds and understanding nature cos as much as I see heaven at the end of the tunnel, hell wants me to serve some peeps its hot fire.
Am free spirited and that also makes me a loner. That I refuse to be in the “clic” should tell you I’m a one man army. I mingle with the crowd but I STAND OUT cos I wasn’t born to FIT IN. I’m a born LEADER; people follow me I don’t.  I’m proud to make such statements cos I know am a blessed child. I also know haters hate and they fear me cos they always hate what they don’t understand and fear what they can’t control.
Am the enigma and my mystic has taken me far and wide; opened my eyes to the world of possibilities,  building positivity, embracing productivity. I’m ME the SHE that has and will continue to BE.
It’s a pity I’m too strong for most but I know my attitude only attracts like minds and we ARE ACHIEVERS.
So before you think of hating me, I suggest you grow up and join me cos the only thing my aura emits is WEALTH and more WEALTH.
XOXO

You Count!

I can’t help but think am having a bad month. Yesterday was the worst; got info that my BB is beyond repairs and my office seat broke and I fell real bad. I still can’t help but wonder why all in one day it’s really sad unfortunately, am not sad lol. Some friends say they going to get me the phone now that will be nice if they really do. But I’m not putting all my eggs in one basket I wud get another BB net week.

I don’t know what it is I want to write about today just I feel like writing and not a poem or short story. Let’s see… the election! Ok, now tell me something, why is it that the youths have given up somewhat on our country and are refusing to vote or carry out their rights?

Do you know that the people have more voice than the politicians? Look at what happened when everyone screamed blue murder at the amount being spent for the independence; it was slashed even though just a lil but it showed we were HEARD. What about the DSTV stuff? Same tingy; that shows our VOICE speaks VOLUMN.

Go VOTE! It might be nothing but its symbolic. It shows YOU HAVE A RIGHT AND YOU ARE EXERCISING THAT RIGHT. It might look minimal but it’s a start for something BIG. Let’s not see suffering as part of Nigeria no, it has to stop. Nigeria CAN BE BETTER. And it’s UP TO US to make it better.

Do exercise your right and vote this SATURDAY.
Make it COUNT.

I BELIEVE IN A BETTER NIGERIA; I BELIEVE IN YOU TO MAKE IT BETTER!
